Happy Birthday, Taylor Swift! The singer, who turns 22 years old today, marked the start of her birthday with a Tweet to her millions of followers. Considering how much Taylor uses her Twitter account to communicate with her fans, this seems perfectly appropriate! Taylor had one heck of an impressive year (her album Speak Now went triple platinum earlier this year, and her tour sold out solidly), and it looks like her 22nd year of life will be even more successful, if that's possible.

Taylor Swift posted to Twitter shortly after the clock struck midnight on December 13, tweeting the simple message, "I'm so 22 right now." Yes she is. But "Swifty" is also young, ridiculously successful, and still at the height of her popularity. At such a young age, that's a remarkable accomplishment. Here's hoping Taylor gets the chance to enjoy her big day any way she wants—she's earned it!
